Determinants of Reactive Agility in Tests with Different Demands on Sensory and Motor Components in Handball Players

This study investigates the relationship between reactive agility and reaction speed, sprint muscle strength their contribution to Y-shaped test (RAT) performance in handball players. Seven players performed a RAT, simple choice-based time test, fast slow generated visual stimuli, 5 m 20 tests, 505 Agility squat jump, countermovement drop jump. The results reveal significant times for (r = 0.777, p 0.040, R 0.604), as well 0.770, 0.043, R2 0.593), RSI ?0.755, 0.050, 0.570); however, no was found with parameters pertaining speed. RAT did not significantly correlate RSI, jump height, sprint, although large effect sizes were > 0.5). It seems that of sensory motor components depends on structure test. While is mainly determined by sprinting, change direction strength, there tendency be time.
